Mr. Shapiro is a Managing Director of Good Homes. Prior to joining GoodHomes, Marc practiced law for 40 years. Early in his legal career, he founded a boutique law firm serving the real estate and capital markets industries, where he created a hospitality lending program for a major Wall Street investment bank.
He later held leadership positions at several major international law firms, and as Department Head oversaw the growth of the New York real estate department at an Am Law 100 firm from 15 to 35 attorneys.
Marc has served in various leadership roles within the real estate industry including counsel to Real Estate Lenders Association and to the Louis August Jonas Foundation where he previously served on the Board of Trustees. He has taught at the Schack Institute at NYU for more than 17 years.
